Company History

Founded as Spunwind in 1972, Regional Storage and Transport's first service was back winding polyester fiber. The Company's philosophy of always striving to meet its customer's needs brought it many other opportunities to diversify and expand over its 30-year history. RST's location in Greenville, NC (http://www.greenvillenc.org), is situated on or near all major trucking and railroad transportation routes in and out of eastern North Carolina. Based on customer demand and a great location, expansion into the warehouse business was a natural next step, and in 1976 Regional Storage and Transport was formed. The two companies were merged in 1983, and operate under the name Regional Storage and Transport, Inc.

Today RST operates a public warehousing and plastic recycling center from its industrial park location in Greenville, NC.
